Post Memorial Day Cleanse
I'm not a fan of your typical "juice cleanse". They're difficult, you're starving, and all the weight is gained back once you start eating again. Not to mention your body is being deprived of nutrients, umm really? A liquid diet? Stop now. If you really want to jump start your diet, drop a few extra pounds before vacation, or simply need to recover from excess weekend calories try the athlete's "Chicken Cleanse". This really works plus it's short and sweet!
3 Day Cleanse
Meal 1 - 1 cup of low fat cottage cheese and 2 slices of tomato
Meal 2 (3 hrs later) - 1 apple
Meal 3 (3 hrs later) - 4oz grilled chicken breast, 1 cup of spinach, Mrs. Dash
Meal 4 (3 hrs later) - 1 apple
Meal 5 (3 hrs later) - 4oz grilled chicken breast, 1 cup of spinach, asparagus or green beans, and Mrs. Dash
NO - salt, butter, dressing, splenda, or sauce.
Drink 1 gallon of distilled water a day. Black coffee and unsweetened tea are allowed.
